Description & Use
Raita is a fresh tasting accompaniment made with yoghurt, cucumber and spices to compliment Indian food. Also delicious on kebabs and kofta.
Simple Raita Recipe
Ingredients & Instructions:
- 1 teaspoon of Raita Spice Blend
- 4 tablespoons of plain yoghurt
Combine spice mix with yoghurt. Add 1/2 cup chopped or grated fresh cucumber to taste.
Serve as an accompaniment to Indian foods such as curries, samosas, pakoras, kofta and vegetarian meals. Also delicious with grills and salads.
