Heat oven to 180C. Whisk the eggs with fragrant sweet spice blend. Use 1 tsp of the butter to grease a baking dish.
Add the bread to bowl and coat in egg mixture thoroughly (you can do this the night before and leave the bread to soak up the egg). Dot remaining butter on top of the bread and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden.
Top with berries, maple syrup and spice dust. Serve with creme fraiche or yoghurt if desired.
