Anzac Wattleseed Bliss Balls

A healthy and unmistakably Anzac tasting energy ball gets a little more Aussie with the addition of our ground wattleseed, giving an almost coffee-like depth which we love in baking.

Ingredients

  • 100g pitted dates
  • 100g rolled oats (gluten free oats for gf option)
  • 100g ground almonds
  • 50g desiccated coconut
  • 2 tbsp golden syrup (or maple syrup for vegan option)
  • 1/2 tsp Herbie’s Native Wattleseed Ground
  • extra coconut, for rolling

Instructions

  1. Blend all ingredients in a food processor for 40-60 seconds until mixture comes together.
  2. Roll into balls approx 25-30g each and dust with coconut.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 8 weeks, or refrigerate for up to 12 weeks. The bliss balls can also be frozen for up to 12 months.

Notes

To  make nut free, simply replace the almonds with the same amount of oats.
