Native Spiced Nuts

Our Australian blend, Ockkah is an Australian version of the popular Egyptian blend, Dukkah.  We’ve added Wattleseed and Bush Tomato to the typical blend of sesame, hazelnuts, pistachio, coriander seed and cumin.  Use in the same way you would Dukkah, and discover the pleasure of Australian native spices.

Ingredients

  • 70g (1/2 cup) raw macadamias
  • 70g (1/2 cup) raw cashews
  • 1 tbsp Herbies Ockkah
  • 1/2 tsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a hot pan and toast for 5-7 minutes, shaking the pan, until golden. Ideally serve warm, but if serving later, cool completely before storing.
