A Louisiana style spice rub to coat meats before cooking. (SML PKT)

Contains: Sea salt, sweet paprika, onion, garlic, white pepper, black pepper, oregano, basil, chilli, thyme, bay leaves, allspice.

Description & Use: A Louisiana style spicy blend for seasoning meat before cooking. Coat meat with seasoning, allow to dry marinate for up to 20 minutes, then pan-fry, grill, barbecue or roast.

CREOLE CHICKEN THIGHS

4 chicken thighs bone-in and skin on
2-3 teaspoons Creole Spice Mix
1 Tablespoon oil
Salad greens for serving

Coat the thighs generously with spice mix.  Pre-heat
oven to 200 C.
Heat oil in a heavy-based ovenproof pan,
Fry thighs on both sides to brown – approx 4 minutes.
Transfer pan to oven and bake for 20 minutes.
Meanwhile prepare salad with your preferred dressing.
Serve chicken with salad.  Serves 2.
