Ridgy-Didge Rissoles
Description
This is the only rissole recipe you need - it's the best!
Ingredients
At a glance
Red Meat
Quick Cook (under 20 mins)
Makes
8
300g lean beef mince
200g pork mince (if you can't get pork mince, use 500g beef mince)
1 small onion, grated or finely chopped
1 tablespoon Herbie’s Spices Tasty Meat Sprinkle
1 tablespoon tomato ketchup
Methods/steps
-
Mush all the ingredients up together in a big bowl with your hands.
-
Make balls of the mixture and flatten between the palms of your hands so that they end up about 8-10cm in diameter and about 2cm thick. If your hands get too sticky, wet them before making more rissoles.
-
Place the rissoles on a plate – makes eight.
-
Heat your barbecue grill and when it’s good and hot, spray the griddle with oil and put the rissoles on. They will need about 4-5 minutes each side, depending on how hot your barbie is.
Additional Tips
You can make burgers with the cooked rissoles, or have them on a plate with sauce and salad.
