Four-Peppercorn Spiced Butter
Description
There is nothing more delicious than a good steak, cooked the way you like it, with a generous knob of butter melting over the top. This spicy butter is a great way to have a pepper steak! It's marvellous for spreading on toast before grilling cheese on top, too.

1 teaspoon Herbie’s Spices Pepperberry Native Whole
1 tablespoon Herbie’s Spices Peppercorns Black Asta Whole
2 teaspoons Herbie’s Spices Peppercorns White Whole
1 teaspoon Herbie’s Spices Peppercorns Pink "Schinus"
250g butter, softened
Methods/steps

Combine the peppers and roughly crush in a pestle and mortar.

Combine all ingredients and mix well.

Form it into a cylinder, wrap in wax or parchment paper and freeze; slice rounds as needed.
Additional Tips
You can store the butter in a covered container in the refrigerator for up to one month. Melt on top of grilled fish, poultry or meat, or toss with pasta for a simple sauce. Mix with crushed garlic and spread on toast.
