Liz and Ian Talk the Herbie’s Spices Journey

Join the Royal Automobile Club Ladies Committee as they bring to you Ian and Liz, owners of “Herbie’s Spices” and renowned authors of various herb and spice books.

Ian and Liz’s love for herbs and spices has had them travel around the world, take others on tours to different areas around the world, write different cooking guides that won countless awards and with more than one voted one of the best hard copy cook books in the world, they have done interviews for radios and TV as well as taking part in various TV cooking shows, their spice shop has been named in the list of the Best Spice Shops in the World (the only Australian spice business recognized).

In October 2007, Ian “Herbie” Hemphill was inducted into the Sydney Morning Herald Sydney Magazine’s Food Hall of Fame.

This talented couple will be coming to talk to you about their passion on spice and talk on their many adventures discovering the many spice, together our Executive Chef and Ian have worked together to infuse some of their spices into the 2 course lunch that will be provided, this is an event you won’t want to miss.
